A video claiming that an oil refinery owned by the Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, is yet to be completed has surfaced on social media.
Recall that the refinery was recently commissioned, which is seen by many Nigerians as the answer to persistent fuel shortages in Nigeria.
However, in the viral video, some workers, who claimed to be working on the refinery, debunked the news that refinery is ready.
While showing where seemed to be a construction site with pipes and tubes, the duo stated that the whole launching was a media charade, as the refinery is not near completion.
“These people wey dey here now now na Dangote refinery dem dey work o. That thing wey dem say work don finish, seh you dey see am? Work never finish o,” one was heard saying.
“Na lie! Na lie! Work never finish! Nigeria na scam,” another interrupted.
