Since its launch in 2012, Jumia has evolved beyond just an online shopping destination, establishing itself as a significant catalyst for economic growth and everyday convenience for millions of Nigerians.

Over the past 13 years, Jumia has played a pivotal role in shaping a more inclusive digital marketplace, connecting small business owners and rural consumers with a vast array of products.

The platform has empowered hundreds of local and international brands to reach customers nationwide, while simultaneously supporting thousands of sellers by providing essential tools, training, and crucial access to logistics services and digital payment solutions.

To commemorate this significant milestone, Jumia has launched its 2025 Anniversary Campaign under the theme “Enjoyment Overload,” which runs from June 2 to June 22.

Beyond featuring attractive deals from prominent brands such as Nivea, Xiaomi, Itel, Diageo, Ecoflow, Skyrun, Oraimo, Adidas, Reebok, Unilever, and Reckitt, the campaign serves as a deeper celebration of Jumia’s enduring impact.

We are proud of the journey so far, not just in terms of business growth, but in the real-life stories of empowerment and access that Jumia has made possible.

Sunil Natraj, CEO of Jumia Nigeria, expressed his pride in the journey. “We are proud of the journey so far, not just in terms of business growth, but in the real-life stories of empowerment and access that Jumia has made possible,” Natraj stated.

“With this anniversary campaign, we’re pulling out all the stops to create a celebration that rewards loyalty, excites new users, and showcases the very best of what e-commerce can offer. This is our way of saying thank you to the millions of Nigerians who have grown with us, challenged us, and inspired us every step of the way.”

Dele Adeyole, Country Manager for Beiersdorf Nivea Consumer Product Limited, highlighted Nivea’s role as the Platinum Sponsor for the celebration.

“Beiersdorf Nigeria owner of Nivea Brand, is proud to partner with Jumia as the Platinum Sponsor for the 2025 Jumia Anniversary Celebration. This three-week event allows us to showcase our commitment to skincare innovation and reward consumers nationwide,” Adeyole commented.

He added that NIVEA will highlight new innovations, including their new NIVEA SUNSCREEN – UV Face, re-launched Deep Maxx Tech Body Lotion, and Radiant & Beauty Even Glow, specifically designed for African skin. The partnership will offer exclusive discounts and a N4.5 million grand prize for top shoppers.

Shoppers can anticipate a wide range of exciting activities during the campaign, including daily flash deals, dedicated brand days, interactive games, treasure hunts, and enticing giveaways from Jumia and its partner brands.
