Ayanlowo detailed instances where Kwam1 allegedly treated them as slaves, including confiscating their passports upon returning to Nigeria and exerting control over their movements. He also recounted a distressing incident where he claimed Kwam1 forced him to forego urgent medical attention, leading to ongoing health concerns.
In response, Kwam1 addressed the allegations in his distinctive musical style on Instagram. He urged Ayanlowo to stop spreading falsehoods and warned against the influence of dishonest individuals. Kwam1 highlighted his role in Ayanlowo’s career, expressing disappointment at what he perceived as an attempt to tarnish his reputation.
In his statement translated from Yoruba to English, Kwam1 said, “Lairs and naysayers get away from me, stop lying. Trying to damage the reputation that raised you when you were a nobody. Disassociate from liars, you have nothing to gain from them.”
