Encomiums continue to pour in as demise of the veteran Yoruba actress was announced.

There is hardly anyone in the make believe industry or born in the 70s and 80s that may claim ignorance of the dexterity with which Folake Aremu, popularly known as Orisabunmi, interpreted her character as the mother hen and saviour of humankind from the terrestrial powers.

She was an orator who chanted eloquently with her resounding sonorous voice.

In short, she made our growing up complete and mesmerized us with a well mastered art of oratory whenever she stood up to the evil Fadeyi Oloro (played by Ojo Arowosafe) in setting free those in the latter’s numerous bondages.

So it is no wonder that tributes continued to pour in and the Queen of Sleazy lyrics, Yinka Ayanda, fondly called Yinka TNT, paused her uncensored sex education to pay last respect for departed veteran.

The 60-year-old actress died four months after ex-husband Jimoh Aliu, better known as Aworo passed on and this was confirmed by the president of the Theatre Arts And Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), Bolaji Amusan, aka Mr Latin, who claimed she died on Tuesday evening.

According to the actor, Orisabunmi died at 11 pm after a brief illness at 11pm.
