Bello Bodejo, the leader of the Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore group has been arraigned before a Federal High Court in Abuja on terrorism charges. He stands accused of establishing and supporting unlawfully an ethnic militia group known as Kungiya Zaman Lafiya.

Arraigned on Friday, Bodejo faced a three-count charge filed by the Office of the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF), alleging violations of the Terrorism (Prevention and Prohibition) Act of 2022.
Pleading not guilty to the charges, Bodejo was ordered to be further detained in the custody of the Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA) by Justice Inyang Ekwo.
The trial is set to commence on May 27, as adjourned by Justice Ekwo.
