Amid swirling speculation about a romantic link to Folashade Adeleke, daughter of the Osun State Governor, Lojay has publicly clarified the nature of their bond — and it’s not what many assumed.
In a candid conversation, the “Monalisa” crooner described Folashade’s his best friend, emphasizing that their connection has always been purely platonic.
“Fola is literally my best friend. From the very first day I met her, I just knew she was different,” Lojay shared.
“She’s the only woman in the 30BG crew, and she holds it down for everybody. Since then, we just clicked and have been good friends ever since.”
This statement puts an end to months of online gossip and speculation surrounding the pair.
Beyond that, Lojay gave fans deeper insight into his personal life, opening up about his current views on love and relationships.
He admitted he is not ready for a romantic relationship and is focusing on self-growth.
“Unfortunately for me, I’m not ready for a relationship yet. Some people assume that means you’re messing around, but that’s not my reality,” he said.
“Sometimes, people genuinely need time to heal from past experiences, and that’s where I am right now.”
His heartfelt honesty is resonating with fans who appreciate celebrities showing emotional vulnerability, especially in an industry where image is everything.
