Lord’s Chosen Church responds to claims of fabricating miracles, maintaining faith in God’s power and affirming their mission to spread holiness.
The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministry has faced allegations of fabricating testimonies shared by its members.
In response, Pastor Chidi Louis, Head of Public Relations, explained that the videos circulating on social media were intentionally shortened to misrepresent the church.
He noted that the church has unabridged versions of the testimonies, which depict miraculous encounters such as a woman disarming robbers and a man riding a lion in a dream.
Louis stressed that the church doesn’t fabricate miracles or screen testimonies, as they preach holiness and righteousness.
He affirmed that the church’s mission, rooted in grassroots revival and evangelism, is focused on spreading the gospel of repentance and promoting unity, peace, and the message of heaven’s consciousness. The ministry’s vision includes a mandate to reach 10 billion souls for God.
Regarding the negative attention on social media, Louis stated that the church isn’t troubled. He emphasised that criticism is inevitable when doing the right thing, and cited scripture about the consequences of blasphemy.
The church is focused on its global impact, with a presence in nearly 120 nations and countless lives transformed by the message of salvation.
The church’s message to critics is simple: investigate before making assumptions. The mysteries of God often transcend human understanding, and while social media allows for free speech, Pastor Louis hopes that people will seek the truth before passing judgment.
