The 2020 Edition of the African Peace and Conflict Management Awards (APACMA) is scheduled to be held in Lagos, Nigeria in the last quarter of this year.

With the theme Conflict Management and Sustainable Peace in Africa, this year’s award ceremony is designed to celebrate individuals and organizations that have contributed positively to Peace and Conflict Management efforts across Africa over the years.

According to the president of the foundation, Amb. Innocent Eneta, the award recipients may or may not necessarily be Africans as long as they have been adjudged to have contributed to peace and peace-building efforts in Africa.

The Awards Nomination and Selection Committee comprise experienced men and women drawn from various walks of life and human endeavour.

A special feature at the event shall be the Exhibition of some Artworks on Peace and other related issues – prepared by Undergraduates in various tertiary institutions across Nigeria, and beyond.

APACMA Awards is an initiative of the African Peace And Conflict Management Foundation (APACMF), an NGO with the primary objective in Peace Building, Conflict Management, National and International Security.

The event will also serve as a medium for Corporate Organizations and other External Parties / Stakeholders to know more about the work of the Foundation, in a bid to create platforms and opportunities for possible present and future Partnerships, alongside exposing and showcasing their brands / products.
