Social media responses were swift. Nollywood actor Stanley Ontop expressed astonishment on his Instagram page, urging men to live responsibly, noting that women often move on regardless of circumstances. “Mohbad died in 2023.
His wife gives birth in 2025? What God cannot do does not exist! Clap hand for Jesus. Life goes on. Anyways, congratulations iyawo Mohbad,” he wrote.
Other users shared a range of opinions. One suggested that if the reports were true, they highlighted women’s resilience and assertiveness.
“If the news about Mohbad’s wife allegedly giving birth is through, then know that women are ruthless in all their ways. To be able to deal with women, you’ve to be very ruthless,” the user commented.
Conversely, some online observers cautioned that the story might be a hoax designed to generate engagement. “I won’t be surprised if it’s later found out that the story of the late Mohbad’s widow, Wunmi, giving birth was a hoax. There is nothing these guys can’t tweet all in the name of hustling engagements,” one user wrote.
