Napoli have received a significant €65 million offer for their star striker, Victor Osimhen, from Saudi Arabian club Al Ahli. This marks the first official bid for Osimhen, following previous links to Chelsea.
Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the news on X, stating, “Al Ahli have submitted an initial bid to Napoli for Victor Osimhen for a package in excess of €65m. Napoli are prepared to let him go, but no agreement between the Nigerian striker and Al Ahli has been reached so far.”
The deal is still far from completion on the player’s side, with Osimhen reportedly considering his options and not open to a loan move. The Super Eagles forward is expected to leave the Serie A club and was notably left out of Napoli’s squad for Sunday’s league match against Bologna.
Victor Osimhen has been a key player for Napoli, scoring 76 goals in 133 appearances over the past four seasons. On the international stage, he has earned 31 caps for Nigeria, scoring 21 goals for his country.
