‘Next candidate’ Kayode Fayemi joins Amosun, Akpabio, steps down for Tinubu

The governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, has also stepped down for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as his preferred candidate for the party in the race towards 2023.

Recall that Freelanews reports that the former governors of Akwa Ibom and Ogun, Godswill Akpabio and Ibikunle Amosun respectively, announced their decisions to step down for the foremost All Progressives Congress aspirant and fmr Lagos state governor, Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu.

They both made this known during the ongoing APC convention on going in Abuja to elect the flagbearer of the ruling party in the general election in 2023 and to replace Gen. Muhammadu Buhari.

Fayemi now become the third aspirant to throw his weight behind the ambition the party national leader, Tinubu. Watch below.
