‘Condition unknown’ Bukka Hut boss, Laolu Martins, slips, hits his head

One of the owners of a popular restaurant chain, Bukka Hut, Laolu Martins, has reportedly slipped and sustained head injury when he was outing shopping at a mall in Lagos yesterday, September 27, 2022.

There have been conflicting reports regarding his current state of health as at the time of filing in this report.

While some sources informed Freelanews that Martins died yesterday, some claimed he gave up the ghost at around 3am on Wednesday, September 28, 2022. Others claimed it was suicide while some insisted he was in a critical condition as at this morning.

Martins is the CEO and Managing Director of NISL Ventures with over 21years of experience in investment banking, corporate banking, stockbroking, asset management and pension fund management. He is also a co-founder and Executive Director of Bhukka Hospitality Limited.

Martins is also an independent member of the Investment Committee of Skye Financial Services Limited
