OGD to host Ogun largest self-sponsored choir concert April 30

Otunba Engr. Gbenga Daniel, OGD, a former Governor of Ogun State and Senator-Elect, Ogun East, is the Asiwaju of Remo Christians, and this has made him the host of the second edition of his self-sponsored Annual Christian Festival, which will be held on April 30.

The program with the theme, “Grateful Hearts” will be held at Abraham’s Tabernacle, Oba Erinwole Road, GRA Sagamu and will feature six main choirs in a competition aimed at improving the art of singing in churches.

Participating choirs include the Tabernacle Choir, Great Remo Chorale, New Wine Ensemble, Viva de Chorale, the Chamber Chorale, the Emerald Choir, and six other observer choirs.

The first prize in the singing competition will be worth two million naira, the second prize is One million naira, and the third prize is N700,000. The remaining observer choirs will receive N200,000 each.

While Otunba Gbenga Daniel as the Asiwaju of Remo Christians, is the main sponsor of the festival, other partners include the real estate companies ADRON and AMBA Properties; Nigeria’s top flight elevator company, Kresta Laurel Limited; the Conference Hotels Limited; and the Charity, Gateway Front Foundation. Channels Television, TVC News, and BISCON TV are media partners.
