Despite the disappointment of failed transfer moves to Chelsea and Ah Ahly, Osimhen’s debut for The Yellow-Reds showed grit and determination.

Galatasaray’s head coach, Okan Buruk, thrust the 25-year-old into the starting lineup, and he responded with a performance full of promise.

His assist for teammate Abdülkerim Bardakcı, which came from a powerful flicked header, was the highlight of a commanding outing.

Osimhen’s overall performance was robust and versatile. His passing was efficient, completing eight out of nine attempts, with two creating shooting chances.

He was a constant threat to the Rizespor defence, recording one shot on target, two off target, and four blocked attempts. His strength in aerial and ground duels, winning six out of eight, further demonstrated his all-around ability.

Beyond his attacking contributions, Osimhen’s physical presence was evident, dominating duels and completing all his dribbling attempts.

Despite missing a big scoring opportunity, his debut performance provided a glimpse of what he can bring to Galatasaray’s title defence.

As Galatasaray continues their season, fans are eagerly anticipating Osimhen’s first goal, with his debut indicating a bright future in Turkish football.
