A popular member of the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State, Akin Akinwale, has bemoaned the fate of youths who are loyal members of the ruling party.

He may be referring to the backlashes being faced by APC party loyalists from opposing parties and an alleged absence of reward system. Especially the recent nomination of an #ENDSARS apologist and a ferocious anti-APC politician, Bosun Tijani, as a ministerial nominee caused ruckus recently in the media space. READ STORY HERE

Akinwale took to the micro-blogging site, Twitter, to express his discontent at how APC leadership seems to always reward their enemies over them.

“APC Youths have suffered in this life. They are the ones always tagged jobless. They are the ones who are deemed illiterates and poor

“PDP and Labour Party Youths are living in affluence and bagging big deals. They are very rich that they don’t need any government’s patronage.

“People that we see almost everyday fa. Awon ashiere. LOOOOOL,” he wrote.

The tweet has gathered diverse reactions. While some confirmed the veracity of his tweet, others pointed out that it is not always so.
