Spearheaded by The Muvmnt Studio, a dedicated storytelling powerhouse, and with Eventful as its official event partner, this pioneering festival promises a vibrant experience centred on celebration, collaboration, innovation, and learning.
Scheduled for Friday, October 10, at Harbour Point, 4 Wilmot Point Rd, Victoria Island Lagos, the inaugural PodFest Naija anticipates drawing an estimated 2,500 attendees.
It is envisioned as a creative melting pot, designed to powerfully spotlight storytelling through podcasts. The event will bring together storytellers, creators, brands, and cultural and policy leaders for a dynamic experience.
“Storytelling today is more than a trend — it’s the heartbeat of meaningful communication,” said Tosin Adefeko, Curator of PodFest Naija and Chief Executive Officer of AT3 Resources – The Muvmnt Agency.
“At The Muvmnt Studio, it’s the foundation of everything we do. It’s how we connect people, communities, and culture. At our core, we all crave the same things: connection and community. Our stories remind us that we are not alone — and that shared experience is what makes humanity stronger. That’s the spirit behind PodFest Naija.”

The festival’s objectives are multifaceted: to celebrate the diverse voices shaping Nigeria’s podcasting community, enable collaboration between creators and brands, spark innovation through discussions on future trends, and foster learning by equipping upcoming storytellers with essential tools and insights for growth.
Commenting on the partnership, Fisayo Beecroft, Managing Director, Eventful, expressed enthusiasm: “For over two decades, we’ve been curating experiences that bring people together in meaningful ways. PodFest Naija is a bold new chapter, a fresh kind of gathering that reflects how Nigerians are engaging with stories today.
