The International Centre for Investigative Reporting (ICIR) recently published claims, citing anonymous Aso Rock sources, that President Tinubu had been bedridden for several days and absent from key state functions due to illness.
The report further alleged the cancellation of all scheduled activities, including the Federal Executive Council Meeting (FEC).
However, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu’s media aide, dismissed these rumors during a conversation with Daily Trust, emphasizing that the president is in good health and capable of choosing to work from home or any location of his preference.
“There is nothing wrong with the president, he is okay. He can choose to work from home. He can choose to work from anywhere,” Onanuga stated clearly, assuring the public that the claims are unfounded.
