In a statement released on Wednesday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President praised Olukoyede’s professionalism and unwavering commitment to strengthening the EFCC’s mission of combating economic and financial crimes.

Since his appointment, Olukoyede has shown exceptional zeal and integrity, implementing key reforms to enhance transparency, accountability, and efficiency within the agency.

President Tinubu specifically commended Olukoyede for establishing a special task force targeting currency offences, aimed at curbing the abuse of the naira and tackling the dollarisation of Nigeria’s economy.

He also highlighted Olukoyede’s introduction of a strategic framework to combat cybercrimes and economic sabotage.

“These initiatives have bolstered public confidence in the EFCC and reinforced our administration’s dedication to economic stability and institutional renewal under the Renewed Hope Agenda,” the President said.

As the nation celebrates the anti-graft chief’s achievements, President Tinubu prayed for divine guidance, strength, and wisdom for Olukoyede to continue leading the agency with determination and success.

“President Tinubu prays that Almighty God will guard and guide the EFCC chairman and bless his efforts to free Nigeria from the economic ills that have hindered our progress for decades,” the statement added.
