‘Reality Chq’ Sound Sultan legacy celebrated as late singer releases new song from beyond (Photos)

Last Sunday, July 10, 2022, witnessed the celebration of the continuing legacy of singer/songwriter/actor & consummate entertainer, Lanre Fasasi aka @soundsultan.

Across three venues in Lagos, London & New York, family, friends & media came together to mark the 1st year remembrance of his transition, with a listening party for the first of his post-humous projects, the EP, Reality Chq.

The Lagos event, which took place at Live Lounge in Victoria Island, saw guests treated to a listening session of the new EP, and an exclusive preview of the video for the lead single, Friends, which dropped on July 11.
Family and friends, thereafter paid tribute to Sound Sultan, reminiscing on his friendship, numerous impacts in the music scene in particular, and entertainment in general.

In attendance were family members, led by his beloved wife, Farida, his sisters, in-laws, nephews and niece.
Others also present included friends, colleagues and media personalities, like ID Cabasa, Ill Bliss, ẸfẹWarriBoy, GT dá Guitarman, Kel Ohia, Olisa Adibua, MGB, Tony Green,

The event was put together by the Sound Sultan Estate, Empire, Naija Ninjas & Now Muzik.
