Rotary Club of Ikeja Township earns proud recognition at District 9112 Seminar, showing commitment to service even before official chartering.
Rotary Club of Ikeja Township captured attention at the District 9112 Membership and New Club Development Seminar held yesterday in Ijebu Ode, standing out despite being a provisional club awaiting official charter.
Represented by the incoming Chartered President, Rtn. Amb. Ariike Olukayode Elegbede, incoming Vice President, Rtn. Victor Ojelabi, alongside prospective members Ariyike Yussuf and Vero Olukayode, the club was specially recognised for its commitment and presence at the seminar.
District Governor Rtn. Lanre Adedoyin addressed the team and their adviser, Rtn. Dr. Olubukunola Soile-Balogun, commending their dedication.
“I’m indeed proud of this club because they’re yet to be chartered but have already commenced service,” Adedoyin said.
The event, held on August 12, 2025 at the Equity Resort Hotel, featured presentations and lectures on innovative strategies for membership growth and retention.
Participants engaged with practical insights on how Rotary clubs can attract new members and sustain vibrant participation.
