Rotary Club of Ikeja Township Provisional celebrates a courtesy visit to District 9112 Governor Lanre Adedoyin, strengthening ties ahead of its chartering
Rotary Club of Ikeja Township Provisional celebrated a special moment on Friday, August 7, 2025, when its members paid a courtesy visit to the District 9112 Governor, Rtn. Lanre Adedoyin, at the district office in the Rotary Centre, Ikeja GRA.

The visit served to formally notify the governor about the club’s upcoming chartering and to receive his Rotary blessing.
Present were Incoming Chartered President Rtn. Amb. Ariikẹ Olukayode, Incoming Vice President Rtn. Victor Ojelabi, and Incoming WeCare Chairman Prospective Rtn. Ariyikẹ Yussuf.
During the meeting, members also had the honour of engaging with Past District Governor Tunji Funsho, Doyen of Rotary International, District 9112, as well as the District Executive Secretary, PP. Omotunde Olaleye.
The governor and senior leaders mentored the club on sustaining a newly chartered club, noting that while challenges may arise, they are not insurmountable.
The Rotary Club of Ikeja Township Provisional, which covers the Alimosho axis, is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Ikeja Alausa and looks forward to contributing meaningfully to Rotary’s mission once officially chartered.
