The Elegushi Royal Family has confirmed the passing of the Royal Prince, Ayaan Elegushi.
This confirmation came after the news hit the Nigerian media space and the royal family called on the Nigerians to respect their right of privacy as the family mourns the passing of the heir apparent.
In a statement made available to Freelanews and signed by the SA on Public Affairs to the king, Temitope Oyefeso, the palace appreciated friends and family for their prayers.
“The Elegushi Royal Family, with total submission to the will of Almighty Allah, announce the passing of our beloved son, Prince Ayaan Elegushi.
“While we try to come to terms with this unfortunate incident, the Royal Family pleads with our friends, especially in the media to respect our privacy at this time.
“We thank you for your prayers and good wishes,” he wrote.
The young lad, who recently clocked a year and seven months old, was his first and only son from his second wife, Queen Hadiza Elegushi, nee Tanko.
The toddler who was born on August 21, 2020, in London.
