SCGN will mark 20 years promoting governance with a landmark conference on ethical leadership, disruption, and sustainability this October in Lagos
Marking two decades of advancing governance in Nigeria, a milestone event by the Society for Corporate Governance Nigeria (SCGN) is set to explore the future of ethical leadership and institutional resilience.

The 20th Anniversary Corporate Governance Conference, hosted by the Society for Corporate Governance Nigeria (SCGN), will take place on Wednesday, 9 October 2025 at 10 AM in Lagos.
As global institutions face rising disruption and calls for accountability, SCGN is convening thought leaders, regulators, and board executives to reflect on Nigeria’s governance journey—and chart a bold path forward.
Themed “Strengthening Ethical Governance in a Disrupted World: Reflections on the Governance Journey for a Sustainable Future,” the conference will examine how governance principles can help organisations remain adaptive, transparent, and future-ready.
Dr. Omobola Johnson, former Minister of Communication Technology, will deliver the keynote, exploring ethical leadership in a rapidly changing world. She will be joined by:
