Governor of Rivers state, Siminalayi Fubara broadcast has been scheduled for 6 p.m. today following the Rivers State Governor’s return after the lifting of the emergency rule.

Arriving at the Government House in Port Harcourt, Fubara expressed his gratitude and was visibly moved by the warm reception he received from supporters.
“I am humbled by what I saw at the airport. The reception really humbled me. It shows love, confidence, and solidarity. It is not just a celebration,” Fubara said.
The governor revealed that the upcoming broadcast would be an opportunity to formally acknowledge the many stakeholders who played vital roles in restoring normalcy to the state.
“The massive turnout by the people reaffirmed the strong bond between this government and the people we serve. We will continue to do the things that have earned your love and support,” he added.
Fubara also assured the public of his administration’s commitment to transparency and appreciation.
“We love you, and in today’s broadcast, every authority that contributed to the return of peace will be properly recognised.”
