Obi was accused of absolving Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB in the insecurity in the south east, his own backyard, while being vocal about other zones.
“The rising insecurity in the country leading to mindless bloodletting, particularly in the North Central zone of the country, and the continued disruption of business and social activities in the South East are all becoming very worrisome,” he wrote. READ MORE HERE
In his response, Ogundamisi, while fixing Obi’s statement, pointed out the need for the politician to tag IPOB appropriately.
“FIXED!
“The rising insecurity in the country leading to mindless bloodletting, particularly in the North Central zone of the country, and the continued disruption of business and social activities in the South East by IPOB TERRORISTS are all becoming very worrisome.” – @PeterObi,” he wrote.
A strategic manager and commentator, Dr Dípò Awójídé, also added:
This thread has been brought to my attention. I must commend you for this measured thread on terrorism, banditry and kidnapping especially in the North Central and South East. It took forever, but we got there in the end.
But sir, Simon Ekpa isn’t denying issuing a sit at home order on behalf of IPOB. He is doing so openly on this platform.
Lastly sir, please encourage the political miscreants and online thugs who continue to abuse those who didn’t support you in the last election to reduce the abuse. It’s not helping you. Discussions and disagreements should be issue based. I hope you enjoy what is left of this beautiful day!
