Governors of Nigeria’s Niger Delta region on Thursday in Asaba, Delta State, announced that they would set up their own security outfit.
The governors are currently meeting in Asaba to discuss how to further curb insecurity across the oil-rich region.
The idea follows the creation of a regional security network known as Amotekun by governors of the six South-West states.
