In celebrating the spirit of love, a habitual philanthropist, Tunde Olaogun has again brought smiles to the faces of some underprivileged children recently in Kogi State.

And according to him, while some people chose the day to be romantic with their loved ones, Olaogun decided to serve humanity by visiting motherless babies care to his love and affection.

“Valentine is here and people seem to have one or two thoughts about the day.

“Some see it as the most romantic, glorious day of affection; gifts and expression of the love of the year, while others view it as a day they wish they could sleep through so they would not have to look at the ones gushing, bouquet-carrying, heart-shaped-chocolate-eating, drunk-on-love persons and a whole lot more of razzmatazz.

“Interestingly, I have been on both sides on some Valentine’s Day love fest, and to be honest, both sides’ feelings are deep and emotions are high.

“This years’ Valentine’s Day, being a working day, I have decided to take time out to spend a little part of the day with the motherless babies. This is essentially a decisive attempt to make these younger folks feel loved, remembered and needed even in the larger society, especially during the Valentine’s Day jamboree when everyone is spreading love.

“I will be visiting the Mom Orphanage Home and Stagi Cornerstone Orphanage, Lokoja.

“These orphans whom have been separated from their biological families ought to feel loved too and that is what I intend to achieve on the 2022 edition of Saint Valentine’s Day, God willing.

“Further still, let me use this medium to reiterate that I would endeavour to continue to reach out to the down trodden no matter how little.

“This decision is in line with Christ’s belief as depicted in the scriptures in Matthew 7:7.

“Remember, the scriptures admonished us to give, and it shall be given unto us.

“This is what I represent, and what I strongly believe in,” he wrote.
