Divine Ikubor, known professionally as Rema, a Nigerian singer, songwriter and rapper, has been letting loose on Twitter like Kanye West and tweeple are going crazy already.

Rema, whose latest work is Ginger Me, has claimed in a series of tweets on his official Twitter handle that he has once stolen laptop in 2017 out of desperation.

According to the superstar kid, he claimed he did so because his mom was pregnant and he needed to fend for his family to prove haters wrong.

Eric, Sorry I stole your Laptop in 2017, I know you were trying to help me. My Mom had a child on the way, I was the only man in my family. They made fun of her because she got pregnant, I wanted to prove them wrong bro, I had to do it.

The artiste, who started his career back in 2019 with a subsidiary of Mavin records, Jonzing World, also claimed some people felt it was too easy for him because he is winning.

Recall he excitedly shared that he has hit a 100 million plays on Audiomack, music streaming and audio distribution platform that allows artists to upload music and podcasts to listeners across its mobile apps and site, said his ‘management is trying to change is password’.

Niggas don’t wanna see a kid win, they feel I got it too easy. I shower with my sweat, we go off on this side like the days in BENIN it got nun to do with my deal, come and sign these papers without a hustler spirit, you gone lose! Management gone change my password now lol 💀

Rema rose to prominence with the release of the song “Iron Man”, which appeared on Barack Obama’s 2019 summer playlist.

While some people believed the rants are part of lyrics for his new song, others were of the opinion that his rants weren’t unconnected with an altercation that played out between him and Davido recently.

It was alleged that an altercation ensued between Rema and Davido at Big Brother Naija Lockdown final on Sunday, which led to latter slapping the former. The two shared the same stage as Laycon was announced as the winner.

According to reports, Laycon and other housemates wanted to take Selfies with Rema but his bouncers stop them. This infuriated Davido, who told Rema to be humble. This generated a disagreement and in the process, Rema was slapped.
