In its bid to for continuously innovate, one of Nigeria’s foremost Out-of-Home agencies, Elev8media, has unveiled the ‘Tower of Oworo,’ the largest digital portrait screen on mainland Lagos.
The location of the screen is strategic and a delight to marketers as its location ensures that millions of Lagosians that move to and fro the Island cannot avoid the towering screen. It is located at Oworonsoki, just after the iconic third Mainland Bridge.
Prior the launch of the giant screen, Elev8media had launched a three-day countdown campaign for the digital unveiling of the Tower of Oworo, an action which has made the anticipation for the launch not just something for stakeholders alone but for every netizen who comes across the name of the screen.
On its social media pages, the OOH agency had posted such messages on launching the screen despite the challenges of the times: “Despite the Covid-19 pandemic we still went ahead to complete this iconic LED named THE TOWER OF OWORO. It was a struggle and still is but we never gave up on our dreams. We still believe.
“We launched a N40m SME fund, to support 10 businesses that have been affected by the pandemic. We then went on to launch a live stream initiative on our iconic LED digital billboard at Marina for UBA Africa Day,” it read, recalling the successfully partnership with UBA for the second edition of UBA Africa Day 2020 which it did by streaming the Youtube live event on its iconic LED Billboard screen.
A statement credited to the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Funmilade Alalade by an online source read, “Despite the Covid-19 global pandemic, Elev8 media has decided to complete the largest LED Portrait Billboard on mainland Lagos. The super structure is nicknamed The Tower of Oworo located by the Third Mainland Bridge in Oworo area of Lagos State is expected to create a difference in the competitive Out-of-Home sector.”
