The untimely death of a 100-level computer science student at Veritas University Abuja, Joshua Èjuojo Daniel-Ejigbo, has sparked controversy and suspicion, as reports reveal disturbing findings surrounding the circumstances of his demise.

According to sources, Joshua Daniel-Ejigbo was tragically found dead while exercising at the campus gymnasium. Initial reports suggested that he suddenly foamed at the mouth and collapsed around 9 pm on Tuesday, leading to his untimely passing.

However, subsequent revelations have deepened the mystery surrounding his death. Family members and concerned individuals have raised alarming allegations of foul play and gross negligence, casting doubt on the initial explanation provided by the university authorities.

Dr. Sanni Bil-hissan, speaking on behalf of Veritas University, confirmed the incident but did not provide further details. Human rights lawyer Mr. Deji Adeyanju, representing the family, echoed the suspicions, emphasizing the need for a thorough investigation into the circumstances leading to Joshua Daniel-Ejigbo’s death.

Adding to the gravity of the situation, a family source disclosed the shocking discovery of five stab wounds on the back and ribs side of the deceased student. This revelation has intensified calls for a comprehensive inquiry into the events preceding his demise.

Despite efforts to seek clarification from the Federal Capital Territory Police Command regarding any ongoing investigations into the student’s death, no official response has been forthcoming.
