United Bank for Africa (UBA) has awarded over N17 million to 30 loyal customers in its August draw as part of its 75th-anniversary celebrations. Winners received prizes ranging from N250,000 to N1 million, with more rewards planned for future draws.
[dropcap]I[/dropcap]n celebration of its 75th anniversary, United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc has awarded a total of over N17 million to 30 lucky customers in its August draw.
The event, which was streamed live on YouTube, was conducted with oversight from the National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC) to ensure transparency and compliance with regulations.

Top Tier Winners:
The highest prize of N1 million each went to the following ten customers: Joshua Izenobor, Chigozie Victor Abel, Cornelius Peter Nwankwo, Joy Esele Asibor, Mohammed Abubakar, Marachi Jenifer Kevin, Chidinma J. Okoronkwo, Saidu Ahmadu, Philomena Ezekiel, and Peace Ogechi Idoko.
Second Category Winners:
Ten other customers won N500,000 each. They are: Elizabeth Warekoromor, Deborah Ijeoma Simon, Prince Chukwuamago, Yohanna Cyrus, Aishatu Aliyu, Djachi Ben-Ikezam, Tibebi Glory Esiteh, Emmanuel C. Udekwe, Ozima Friday Asiku, and Beauty Danasabe.
Third Category Winners:
In the final category, ten more customers received N250,000 each. The winners are: Olusegun Oke, Salisu Adamu, Sola Deborah Adeyeye, Chidozie Nwachukwu, Gloria Abimaje, Anyiwe Stephen Ifeanyi, Kehinde F Adefemiwa, Oluwakemi Olushola Olayande, Adamu Hajara Adamu, and Ruth Adugba.
Shamsideen Fashola, UBA’s Group Head of Retail & Digital Banking, congratulated the winners and encouraged others to continue saving for a chance to win in future draws.
He highlighted that UBA plans to reward 75 winners in each category over the coming months, with a total of 195 more customers to be selected.

“This is just the beginning of our legacy promo draw,” Fashola stated. “There are still many more prizes to be won in subsequent monthly draws. These draws are purely transparent, and the next millionaire could just be you.”
Alero Ladipo, Group Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications at UBA, emphasized that the draw is part of the bank’s efforts to appreciate its customers and foster a savings culture.
She explained that the UBA Legacy Promo is part of the bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives aimed at giving back to society.
