The Drainage Enforcement and Compliance Department of the Lagos State Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources (@LasgMOE) has taken decisive action in response to a viral video drawing attention to an ongoing illegal sandfilling activity at the back of Lakeview 2 on Orchid Road, Lekki.

Recall that a video surfaced online where the attention of the Lagos State government was drawn to an illegal activity ongoing in the area few days back.

According to an update shared by the commissioner of Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, the operatives were on site on the site on Monday to issue a Stop Work Order to individuals involved in the unauthorized sandfilling.
