Wema Bank Plc has once again set the pace in the digital responsibility by intimating Nigerians on how to differentiate fake currencies.

Recall that the Central Bank of Nigeria recently released the new redesigned legal tender into circulation.

Owing to the outcry by most Nigerians of their inability to detect the real notes from fake, which are also being introduced by unscrupulous criminal, the management of the bank has taken it upon itself to ‘clear’ the innocent citizens.

Taking to its official social media platform, the bank wrote:

As the new currencies increase in circulation, we’re aware that scammers might see this an opportunity, which is why we’ve taken the responsibility to inform you on how to distinguish the fakes from the real notes.
