‘Will always be family’ Kim Kardashian, Pete Davidson ‘break up’ after dating for 9 months

Kim Kardashian, the US media personality, and Pete Davidson, the comedian and actor, have reportedly parted ways after dating for nine months.

According to E! News, sources close to the couple said they have resolved to remain just friends.

The split, according to family insiders, occurred “sometime this week.”

The media outlet also quoted insiders as saying the pair broke up due to “long-distance dynamic and their demanding schedules”.

It is understood that the pair still have “a lot of love and respect for each other” but the distance between them “made it really difficult to maintain a relationship.”

Pete is currently living in Australia where he is working on his forthcoming movie.

His relationship with Kardashian became public in November last year.

The affair, which came after Kardashian’s divorce from Kanye West, had made headlines in newspapers on several occasions.

Kardashian’s marriage to West officially ended on March 2 when a Los Angeles judge finalised her divorce from the rapper.

They share four kids together — North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2.

Since their union crashed, West had consistently launched verbal attacks at Davidson.

Kardashian had earlier said she and the rapper “will always be family” despite their divorce.

“Kanye and I have had conversations. We have to talk daily for the kids so you know, I hate that it had to play out like that. But when it comes to family, I mean, Kanye and I will always be family,” she had said.

“At the end of the day, I just want my kids to be happy and healthy, and think the world of their dad. And they do.”
