Organisers confirmed that school registration ran between 8 and 12 September across various centres in the state.

Warri South West Local Government will feature 11 schools, with Agogboro Secondary School facing Ikpere Secondary School in the opening fixture on 22 September.

In Warri South, 24 schools have signed up, with Obodo Secondary School set to take on Nana College in the opener.

The competition will then progress to zonal matches at eight designated venues between 30 September and 2 October.

The quarter-final stage will follow on 7 October across four venues, depending on the schools that qualify.

In addition to the mainstream entries, nine local governments have registered their technical colleges, further broadening the scope of this year’s edition.
