In a crackdown on illegal activities, 24 youths have been arrested in Oshodi, Lagos State, for engaging in robbery and other unlawful acts. The revelation was made by Tokunbo Wahab, Commissioner of the Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, Lagos State, on social media.

According to Wahab, some of those apprehended were caught in the act of robbing passersby. They were promptly arraigned before the Mobile Court sitting at Oshodi, where they were sentenced to two weeks imprisonment.

Wahab wrote on social media: “24 miscreants arrested at Oshodi yesterday for robbing passerby and other illegal activities were arraigned and sentenced to 2 weeks imprisonment by the Mobile Court sitting at Oshodi.”

The arrests and subsequent sentencing highlight ongoing efforts by law enforcement agencies to curb criminal activities in the area, ensuring safety and security for residents and visitors alike.
