The 2Baba 25-year music celebration concert is expected to draw fans, industry stakeholders and leading performers from across Africa and beyond, marking a significant milestone in the evolution of Nigerian music on the global stage.

Organisers say the event, titled “The 2Baba Experience,” will serve as both a celebration of the singer’s career and a broader reflection on the growth of Afrobeats over the past two decades.

Over the years, 2Baba has remained a defining figure in the industry, widely credited with helping to shape the sound and international appeal of contemporary Nigerian music.

The concert will feature performances spanning multiple generations, bringing together established stars and emerging talents in what organisers describe as a powerful showcase of Nigeria’s cultural influence.

Beyond personal recognition, the event is also expected to highlight the contributions of artists who have played key roles in promoting African music globally, reinforcing its focus on collective industry achievement.

Speaking ahead of the concert, 2Baba emphasised that the milestone goes beyond his individual journey, noting that it represents the shared progress of African music and the many creatives who have contributed to its rise.

Attendees are expected to experience a night of live performances, surprise guest appearances and curated segments celebrating both the legacy and future of the industry.
