The leader of the Yoruba Nation, Sunday Adeyemo, also referred to as Sunday Igboho, has expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for his first actions as president and has urged him to solve the issues that the Yoruba people are facing. In an interview with Alaroye Online TV over the weekend, Igboho made these claims.

Igboho said, “I pray for good health for President Bola Tinubu,” expressing his gratitude for Tinubu’s efforts. He has been making great progress in modernising the nation, and he is doing well. Thus far, he has made a number of important appointments in important offices, demonstrating his awareness of his surroundings.”

However, Igboho emphasized the ongoing struggles faced by the Yoruba people. “I want President Tinubu to remember that Yorubas are suffering. He will definitely use 8 years. God will help him through the governance process. God will grant him a long life to be able to turn this country around,” Igboho remarked.

Currently residing in Germany with his family, Igboho disclosed the personal challenges he faces, being away from Nigeria where his livelihood as a car dealer is based since 1996. He also shared the pain of losing his mother during the Yoruba Nation struggle, expressing his deep concern and requesting divine intervention for her burial.

“I do not regret that I led the Yoruba Nation’s struggle. I want to call on all of us to be in unity,” Igboho urged, emphasizing the importance of solidarity among the Yoruba people.

Despite the destruction of his properties and the loss of lives during the Yoruba Nation struggle, Igboho remains resolute and trusts that God will guide him through the challenging times. He assured that he would return to Nigeria soon to bury his mother and encouraged unity among those supporting the Yoruba cause.
