[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he Niteshift Coliseum Alumni gathered for the first time on 7th September 2024 at the Ikota Royal Estate, Lagos, to celebrate the 80th birthday of their founder, Ken-Calebs Olumese.
The event marked the reunion of old staff who played key roles in the success of the iconic Niteshift Coliseum brand, an entertainment powerhouse for over 30 years.
Olumese, affectionately called “Guv’nor,” hosted the garden party in continuation of his birthday celebrations.
The reunion brought together former staff, now professionals in various fields, to reminisce on their experiences working under Olumese’s visionary leadership.
Many expressed gratitude for the opportunities and lessons they gained while working at the Coliseum.
The atmosphere was filled with joy as speeches, laughter, and heartfelt memories were shared.
Olumese, visibly emotional, thanked his staff and their families for their support and promised to make the reunion an annual event.
With Prince Kunle Bakare as the MC, the evening featured sumptuous food, drinks, and lively entertainment. It was a fitting tribute to the legacy of a man whose vision shaped the careers of many and left an indelible mark on Nigeria’s nightlife scene.
