Professor Fassy Yussuf’s 70th birthday celebration highlighted his contributions to Ogun State and Nigeria, inspiring many with his legacy.

 

 

[dropcap]R[/dropcap]enowned public relations scholar and legal luminary, Professor Fassy Yussuf, marked his 70th birthday in a grand celebration held on Friday, 3rd January 2025, at A5 Hall and Suites, Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.

The event witnessed an outpouring of accolades from distinguished guests, including His Majesty, Oba Professor Adeyemi Abdukabir Obalanlege, Olota of Ottaland.

Describing Professor Yussuf as a “rare gem,” Oba Obalanlege commended his contributions to Ogun State and Nigeria, highlighting his exceptional intellect and visionary leadership.

In his speech, the monarch reflected on Professor Yussuf’s tenure as the Commissioner for Information in Ogun State, praising his innovative strategies and legacy of excellence.

“Your dedication to public service and your unparalleled intellect have left an indelible mark on Ijebu Ode and beyond,” remarked His Majesty.

“The innovative strategies and capacity-building initiatives you introduced continue to inspire progress across the region. Your mentorship and emphasis on professionalism have left a lasting impression on all who worked under your leadership.”

The Olota of Ottaland also expressed his admiration for Professor Yussuf’s unwavering commitment to excellence, recognising his role in mentoring generations of professionals.

On behalf of the Otta Kingdom and the Ogun Awori Nation, he extended heartfelt congratulations and prayers for the celebrant’s continued health, joy, and wisdom.

The heartfelt tribute was endorsed by Prince Adeyemi Sulaimon Olusesi, Principal Secretary to His Majesty, underscoring the enduring impact of Professor Yussuf’s contributions to academia, public relations, and governance.
