Anietie Udoh has been selected for the global jury of the 2025 Native Advertising Awards, marking a major milestone for Nigerian advertising

 

[dropcap]A[/dropcap]nietie Udoh, a leading creative marketing strategist and a trailblazer in Nigeria’s advertising industry, has been selected as part of the global jury for the 9th edition of the prestigious Native Advertising Awards.

This recognition cements his influence in the marketing world and highlights Nigeria’s growing presence in global advertising.

The Native Advertising Awards celebrate excellence in innovative storytelling and effective brand communication.

The 2025 edition will feature 39 grand prizes, six new category clusters, and 12 additional categories, making it the most extensive edition yet.

The grand ceremony will be held on 22 May 2025 at Pressens Hus, Copenhagen, Denmark, with the global shortlist set to be unveiled on 10 April 2025.

Udoh’s appointment to this elite panel of industry experts is a historic achievement for Nigeria’s advertising and marketing sector.

As Divisional Director at Marketing Edge Publications, Nigeria’s leading multi-channel media group, he has played a pivotal role in shaping brand narratives and driving strategic marketing initiatives.

Under his leadership, Marketing Edge has established groundbreaking partnerships with international platforms such as the New York Festivals International Advertising Awards, the Loeries, the African Cristal Festival, and Cannes Lions.

These collaborations have significantly boosted Nigeria’s visibility on the global advertising stage.

A graduate of Philosophy from the University of Lagos, Udoh is a seasoned marketing and editorial professional with expertise spanning journalism, PR, marketing, and integrated marketing communications.

He is also a member of the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON) and the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).

Speaking on his appointment, Udoh expressed his excitement:
