Ifa Festival 2026 will light up Owode Egba as Pasuma, Malaika and other stars headline a two-day celebration of culture and entertainment.
Owode Egba, Ogun State, is set for a colourful cultural celebration as the families of High Chief Ayoola Adeyolaifa, the Olu Nla of Owode Egbaland, host Ifa Festival 2026 on October 30 and 31, with Fuji stars Wasiu Alabi Pasuma and Sulaimon Alao Malaika among the major attractions.
The two-day festival will combine traditional heritage, music and entertainment across two venues in Owode Egba, bringing together royal fathers, community leaders, entertainers and guests for what promises to be a lively celebration.
The opening day will take place on Friday, October 30, at Olunla Villa, Balogun Quarters, Owode Egba, with the doors scheduled to open at 12 noon.
Fuji maestro Sulaimon Alao Malaika is billed to provide music for the opening celebration, alongside Alhaji Saheed Bamideles, Olaroki and Awised Mass Kenny, also known as Eyinju Oganla.
The festival will continue on Saturday, October 31, at All Saint School 1, Owode Egba, from 12 noon.
The second day carries an equally strong entertainment line-up, with Fuji star Alhaji Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, popularly known as Oganla, listed as a guest artiste alongside Segun Johnson and T.I Blaze.
Nollywood actor Ibrahim Chatta is also scheduled to make a special appearance, while Yemisi Oladele Kukoyi Adedoyin will serve as master of ceremonies.
The October 31 celebration will be held under the distinguished chairmanship of Chief Otunba Michael Oluwole Soretire, with Oba Kolawole Arewa Sowemimo, Gabdewolu 1, the Olu of Owode Egbaland, listed as the Royal Father of the Day.
The festival’s programme reflects the organisers’ effort to blend the cultural character of Owode Egbaland with contemporary entertainment.
The presence of traditional royalty alongside established Fuji performers and younger contemporary artistes is expected to give the celebration a broad appeal across generations.
For the community, the event will also provide an opportunity for families, friends and visitors to gather around a shared cultural experience while enjoying live performances.
The organisers have indicated that maximum security will be provided for the October 30 gathering at Olunla Villa.
With Pasuma and Malaika leading the entertainment attractions across the two days, the festival is expected to draw music lovers from Owode Egba and neighbouring communities.
Pasuma’s appearance on October 31 and Malaika’s performance on the opening day give the celebration two major Fuji attractions, while the inclusion of Segun Johnson, T.I Blaze and other artistes adds further variety to the programme.
Beyond the star performances, the festival places Owode Egba itself at the heart of the celebration, offering an opportunity to showcase the community’s cultural identity while creating a platform for entertainment and social interaction.
