FirstBank has launched the groundbreaking ceremony for its green-certified headquarters in Lagos, setting new standards in sustainable banking practices

 

[dropcap]I[/dropcap]n a significant move towards sustainability and innovation, First Bank of Nigeria, the premier bank in West Africa and a leading provider of financial inclusion services, has launched the groundbreaking ceremony for its new, state-of-the-art headquarters.

Located in Eko Atlantic City, Lagos, the building will be a green-certified, 40-storey marvel, setting the bar for eco-friendly construction in the region. Upon completion, it will stand as the tallest building in Nigeria.

This new office building aims to combine technological innovation with sustainability, transforming the way banking institutions operate.

The 40-storey project is set to redefine the African financial landscape, with eco-conscious design principles that not only reduce operational costs but also enhance environmental responsibility.

The construction aligns with FirstBank’s commitment to delivering excellence, while also focusing on environmental stewardship.
