Adura Aloba Arrested

Adura Aloba, the younger brother of late singer Mohbad, was arrested outside a Lagos court, sparking accusations involving Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi

The arrest took place on Wednesday as Adura was leaving the Lagos State Magistrates Court in Ogba. He was reportedly apprehended alongside two others, with the events surrounding the arrest quickly sparking a social media outcry.

In a viral video, Mohbad’s mother, Abosede Aloba, expressed her distress over the situation, claiming that Adura was abducted by unknown gunmen suspected to be police officers outside the court.

In the emotional video, she appealed to Nigerians for help, accusing popular Nollywood actor and rights activist, Yomi Fabiyi, of being responsible for her son’s arrest.

“Please help me, people of God! It’s Yomi Fabiyi. They have taken away my son, Adura, and I don’t know where they are taking him.

The gunmen kidnapped him after the court sitting,” Abosede said. “Yomi Fabiyi and Sam Jojo kidnapped him. My son did nothing to them. Adura is innocent, Nigerians, please stand by me.

They must not lay a hand on my son. They must not beat him because he is sick. The real culprit has already confessed to doing it.”

According to reports, Adura’s court appearance was related to a legal matter involving a phone he sold to Damola Ayinde.

The situation escalated when Adura accused Ayinde and Yomi Fabiyi of using the phone to damage his reputation by hacking his TikTok account.

This accusation appears to have been the catalyst for the legal case and, potentially, the subsequent arrest.

As the situation unfolds, questions are being raised about the circumstances surrounding Adura’s arrest and the involvement of public figures such as Yomi Fabiyi.

The public reaction has been swift, with many calling for justice and the safe release of Adura Aloba. The matter continues to develop, and authorities are expected to provide further details in the coming days.
