Adron Homes court victory

Adron Homes court victory confirms its legal rights as estate developer after residents’ case is dismissed for lack of evidence

Adron Homes court victory has been sealed as the Federal High Court in Abeokuta dismissed a fundamental rights suit brought by the City of David Residents Association (CODRA) and five individuals against Adron Homes and Properties Limited.

Presided over by Hon. Justice Abiodun J. Adeyemi, the case (Suit No. FHC/AB/FHR/58/2023) was found to be speculative, unsubstantiated, and without merit.

The Applicants had claimed Adron Homes infringed on their right to personal liberty, but the court ruled that no credible evidence was presented to support this.

Justice Adeyemi stressed there was no record of arrest, invitation, or any action by Adron Homes that could constitute a breach of fundamental rights.

On the issue of freedom of association, the court held that while residents are free to associate, the legal right to own, manage, and make administrative decisions for the estate rests solely with Adron Homes as the legitimate developer and manager.

The judge emphasised that the ruling was based solely on law and evidence — not conjecture — and dismissed the case in its entirety.

While celebrating the legal win, Adron Homes reiterated that its primary focus remains the wellbeing and satisfaction of its subscribers and residents.

The company affirmed it will continue delivering value and safeguarding clients’ interests.

This judgement not only clears Adron Homes of the allegations but also strengthens its position as a law-abiding, customer-focused estate developer.
