Released via Atlantic Records, the 23-track project ends a seven-year wait since her explosive debut Invasion of Privacy and has already claimed the No. 1 spot on the US iTunes albums chart.
The album boasts an all-star lineup of collaborators, including Kehlani, Megan Thee Stallion, Selena Gomez, and pop icon Janet Jackson.
Critics have praised the release for its rawness and bold storytelling, with Rolling Stone awarding it an impressive 4.5 stars and calling it “a fearless, high-octane return to form.”
To coincide with the launch, Cardi B also unveiled a powerful music video for the lead single Safe and made a surprise appearance at an Apple Music event in New York City.
A global tour is scheduled for 2026, fuelling further anticipation.
The release comes at a pivotal moment in the rapper’s life. On 17 September, Cardi B confirmed she is expecting a child with NFL star Stefon Diggs, following weeks of speculation. Speaking to CBS, she said: “I’m excited. I’m happy.”
Just weeks prior, Cardi B secured a legal victory in a high-profile civil case.
A Los Angeles jury ruled in her favour on 3 September, clearing her of assault allegations made by security guard Emani Ellis, who sought \$24 million in damages over a 2018 incident.
The verdict, delivered after a week-long trial, brings closure to a longstanding legal saga.
Now, with her name back at the top of the charts, a baby on the way, and legal troubles behind her, the Cardi B comeback is not just a return — it’s a full-blown resurgence.
