The actress, who welcomed her second child in July, disclosed that she endured severe health struggles, including recurrent low blood pressure, which led to multiple emergency hospital visits.
“I started battling low blood pressure in January but kept going to work. I even collapsed on a movie set in Ikorodu,” Akintunde revealed in her Instagram post.
She noted that she was hospitalized six times during the pregnancy and faced terrifying dreams and death revelations from strangers, yet remained steadfast in her faith.
Despite the tough road, the journey ended in what she described as a miraculous delivery. On July 17, during a routine hospital visit, doctors unexpectedly asked her to remain for labour.
“My heart skipped, but within three hours, I delivered naturally — no C-section, no complications, and the fastest labour recorded in the clinic this year,” she shared joyfully.
After nearly a decade of waiting for another child, the Nollywood star expressed gratitude for what she called her “precious gift from God.”
