Tinubu approves Nigerian Law School hostels and a major road project in Abuja, improving student accommodation and easing traffic near the Body of Benchers Secretariat.

President Bola Tinubu has approved the immediate construction of new hostels at the Nigerian Law School, Abuja Campus, along with a crucial road project linking the Body of Benchers Secretariat in Jabi District to Nile University.

The approval came as an urgent directive to the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, to execute both projects under emergency consideration.

The planned hostel development will feature two purpose-built facilities designed to house 300 students each, with one block dedicated to female students and the other to male students.

This initiative aims to significantly enhance the accommodation standards for law school students in the capital.

In addition to the hostel project, Tinubu’s directive includes the construction of an access road connecting the Body of Benchers Secretariat to Nile University.

This new road is expected to provide smooth access to the Secretariat and help alleviate traffic congestion on the busy route leading to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) headquarters.

The swift approval and planned developments highlight Tinubu’s commitment to improving educational infrastructure and urban mobility in Abuja.
