Ronaldo’s goal, arriving in the sixth minute of added time, capped a commanding performance by the Saudi Pro League leaders and extended their winning streak to nine matches.
Al Nassr had taken the lead in the 39th minute through Joao Felix, who finished a low cross into the bottom right corner after two earlier disallowed goals.
Three minutes later, Felix set up Wesley to strike a superb shot into the top corner, giving the hosts a 2–0 advantage at half-time.
New signing Sadio Mané restored the two-goal lead in the 77th minute after Al Khaleej’s Hawsawi had reduced the deficit with a powerful strike early in the second half.
Al Khaleej’s Kourbeli received a straight red card in the 90th minute, further diminishing their hopes of a comeback.
Ronaldo, who had been denied multiple times by goalkeeper Moris and saw an earlier effort ruled out for offside, acrobatically connected with a floating cross from Boushal to complete his 954th career goal.
The 40-year-old striker now has ten goals in nine league appearances this season.
The victory keeps Al Nassr firmly in contention at the top of the Saudi Pro League, with 27 points, while also thrilling fans with Ronaldo’s remarkable finishing ability.
