President Bola Tinubu celebrates Prince Samuel Adedoyin’s 90th birthday, lauding his industrial, philanthropic, and national contributions
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has honoured Prince Samuel Adedoyin, founder of the Doyin Group of Companies, on his 90th birthday, recognising his decades of service to Nigeria’s industrial and philanthropic sectors.

In a statement issued on Thursday, Tinubu described Prince Adedoyin as a “national icon with decades of footprints in the manufacturing sector” and praised his vision, discipline, and generosity.
The President highlighted Adedoyin’s contributions to the Nigerian economy, noting his creation of numerous employment opportunities and his enduring commitment to education and community development.
“Through sheer determination, entrepreneurial brilliance, and integrity, he built enterprises that have contributed significantly to our economy and created opportunities for countless Nigerians,” Tinubu said.
Tinubu also recalled his personal relationship with Adedoyin, describing it as close, pleasant, and warm.
He wished the industrialist continued grace, strength, peace, and joy, welcoming him to the “grand club of the nonagenarians.”
Prince Adedoyin, who arrived in Lagos as a teenager from Agbamu, Kwara State, has spent over seven decades contributing to the state’s social and economic fabric while maintaining a strong connection with his hometown.
